Because the people who will ultimately perform the work is not person you meet during your estimate, you may run into potential problems in terms of miscommunication and efficiency. We've seen customers who hired these companies that subcontract the work out ended up having to deal with time delays and poor workmanship due to miscommunication between the company that they hired and the subcontractors that actually came out to do the work. In addition, you are often charged more for the work since these companies also have to be compensated and they also have to pay the salespeople that came out to meet with you.
